Alistair began his career as an ambitious and driven 20-year-old, eager to make a name for himself in the South Auckland commercial property market. Over the past 12 years, he has built strong relationships with some of New Zealand’s largest landholders and companies. Specialising in the Central–South Industrial Belt, Alistair has developed deep expertise in the logistics and distribution sectors, having successfully sourced warehousing solutions for several of the world’s largest freight operators.
His relationship-driven approach has enabled him to transact across a broad spectrum of the market, including large-scale development sites, office and retail properties, as well as his core focus, industrial assets. Known for his grounded, direct, and honest style, Alistair has become a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, private investors, and a range of NZX-listed and international businesses.
A consistent top performer in his previous role, Alistair, alongside business partner Ben Adam, holds multiple company records for transaction size. In May 2025, the pair launched X Commercial South Auckland, New Zealand’s first X Commercial office. Their vision is to bring a high-performance, internationally-proven model to the Auckland market and raise the bar for commercial real estate service.
Outside of work, Alistair is a dedicated husband and father to two daughters. He enjoys family time at the beach in Northland and running the trails of Riverhead Forest.
